A Hitchhicker's Guide to the Planes
The Revolutionary League
MERCYKILLER: “How do you get an Anarchist out of a tree?”
MERCYKILLER: “Cut the rope.”
Pssst! Yeah, you! Over here!
What are you doing, asking about Anarchists in such a public place? Haven’t you ever heard that the walls in Sigil have ears, eyes, and even mouths? If you want to stay out of the dead-book in this burg of politics and philosophies, you’d better start being a lot more subtle than that!
So you want to know about Anarchy? You’re asking the right mimir here, cutter…I’ve spoken with some of the best-known — or should that be least known — agents of the so-called faction, and gathered some fascinating darks for you. ‘Course, it goes without saying you can’t tell a living soul. Or even an undead one. Otherwise, you may well wake up to find something rather nasty in your bed, courtesy of an irate anarchist.
Sigil HQ: Mobile and hidden
Home Plane: Carceri
Allies: Doomguard, Xaositects (loose)
Enemies: Harmonium, Guvners, Mercykillers
Natural Guile [Namer] (Ex): New Anarchists gain a +6 faction bonus to Bluff, Disguise, Forgery, and Sleight of Hand checks. In addition, they may choose one of those skills to be a permanent class skill for them.
Devotion to the Cause [Namer] (Ex): No Anarchist may ever hold any public office or noble title, own a business, or take part in any activity which ties him to the existing power structure of the planes. They’re required to donate at least 50% of all treasure they gain to the faction or to the oppressed; under no circumstances can they give it to a PC or player-controlled NPC. Most housing cost are 50% cheeper however.
Expert Impersonator [Factotum] (Ex): Experienced Anarchists gain a +12 faction bonus to all Bluff, Disguise, Forgery, and Sleight of Hand checks when attempting to impersonate a member of another faction.
Perfect Chameleon [Factor] (Su): High-ranking Anarchists are trained to be the perfect spies. They gain a +20 faction bonus to all Bluff, Disguise, Forgery, and Sleight of Hand checks when attempting to impersonate a member of another faction, and even magical means of detection (such as know faction) won’t reveal their true allegiance.
